This is a special edition of The Hatrick. A ball that utalizes the recently discovered 'hat' shape as part of the construction. This version was made for the person that descovered the shape: David Smith. The colors of the panels are pulled from the news article in the NY Times that broke the story of the discovery.

I was asked by Mitre to make a special edition Mitre ball. It has the consturction of a classic Mitre ball, and it is constructed from recycled mitre balls throughout history. This ball was gifted to 'The Lost Lionesses' as part of a campaign to honor them for their unofficial world cup run.

A ball made from recycled Air Force 1's. 92 panels and hand stitched over a week. I really like how this one turned out.

The latest iteration of my years long quest to make a really nice Globe ball. There's still a few small issues which will be solved in a later version. I'm not done with this ball theme yet.

A scale model of the techtonic plates of the earth, mixed with a 32 panel ball. This was an early experiment with a lot of mistakes and issues.

A work in progress shot showing the inside of the Badly Drawn Ball (red pen variation). A ball designed to look ilke it was drawn badly, with a red pen. This ball was very technical and was a bit of a nightmare to stitch together.

A (currently shelved) record setting number of panels. I hate everything about this ball. It's awful and cursed. I try to avoid it. One day it will be finished. I've visibily aged since I started working on this project. Never again!

FIFA asked me to make a ball for Messi as a way of honoring his impact at the 2022 World Cup. This was a very surreal project.

This video was taken in the stands at the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar. FIFA hired me to make a ball to commemorate the tournament. There were 32 teams in the tournament, and 32 panels in the ball. Each team had a panel representing them. I stitched the flag panels during the group stage, then added those panels to the ball in order of when they got knocked out. This culminated with me adding the final 2 panels at the world cup final.
